Something Shiny....

This past weekend I took a trip to CT for Tony's class Ring Dance. Little did I know that I would be getting a ring of my very own. That's right! Tony proposed Friday night. Here's the story as best as I can remember for now, I might still be in shock....

Ashley had mention to me before the trip that the boys wanted to go to a nice dinner. (Which could have been the first clue since neither of our boys are much for dressing up to go eat) So we all got dressed up and went to dinner at Seamen's Inne Restaurant & Pub. It was a cute little place along the water in Mystic.

We ate an amazing dinner although everyone did seem to be acting a little awkward, which makes sense now because everyone knew what was coming except me. Out of nowhere Tony got up( I thought he was just going to the bathroom again) got down on one knee and proposed!!! He said all kinds of wonderful mushy stuff like "I love you, I want to be with you forever, Will you marry me?"
popping the question!

I said YES of course!

putting the gorgeous ring on my finger

lighted box!!!!

He pulled the ring out of the box with a light in it(which was an amazing touch) and put it on my finger. It is perfect! The entire evening was perfect! He is perfect! I could not be happier. I know that Tony will be a wonderful husband and an amazing father to Benjamin. I AM the luckiest girl in the world!!!

Half Naked Cowboy!?!?

What a fun weekend! I woke up early on Saturday morning, like a crazy person, to go to the Mothers of Multiples sale. Apparently I was not crazy enough because all the good stuff was gone by the time I made it in the door. :-( I didn't find what I was looking for but I did find a cowboy hat and boots! Along with a xylophone and another summer hat.

I didn't stop there! Rachel and I drove around Virginia Beach and Chesapeake with Benjamin, in her tiny two door Cavalier, to find some yard sales!! I found a craftsman toy tool bench (practically new), airplane swing, T-shirt, swim trunks, and a hokie outfit. We probably would have kept going but we ran out of room in the car...

$30 for ALL of this!

Benjamin absolutely LOVES his boots and hat! He cries when its time for the boots to come off.

We don't have a stand for the swing yet but, grandparents make a pretty good substitute. :-D

picking mommy some "flowers" at church this morning.

We spent Sunday evening with the Burleys playing and watching/dancing to Veggietales. Benjamin found a new toy in their backyard! Hope he thinks raking is that much fun when hes older!!! :-D

SUPER WOMAN!!!!

After I had Benjamin I gained a whole new respect for any woman with a child. I couldn't imagine how a person could ever take care of more than one! After I began watching Vera my respect grew even more for women with more than one child! I really do feel like super woman while taking care of them, especially if we have to go anywhere. It is a production in itself just to get the two of them in the car.

Today I decided to add just one more into the mix. I watched Colin while Abigail went to a Dr. appointment. I was pretty nervous about this but it ended up being easier than watching just two kids sometimes. Benjamin and Colin played together while Vera watched. They played very well together and Vera was completely entertained... I didn't have to do anything but supervise!

Having a blast chasing each other around

"Someday soon I will be able to run around with them!"

After Abigail got back Colin wanted to check out Benjamin's "new" bed.
Two little monkeys jumpin on the bed...

Walk in the Park

Yesterday Vera, Benjamin and I met Colin and Abigail at the park. I believe this was Benjamin's first time playing a real park! He had so much fun!

running toward the playground

They were both trying to climb up the slide... poor Ben didn't have enough traction on his shoes

sticking out the tongue helps with concentration.

Sadly I didn't get any pictures of Vera since she was strapped to me in the snugli. All I could see was the back of her head but I knew she loved it. She showed her excitement by kicking her legs and letting out the occasional growl :-D

Big Boy :-(

Monday morning Benjamin did something every mother dreads... he climbed out of his crib... and landed on his head. No worries he is fine. He was in shock for a minute and cried but he is ok. I, however, nearly had a heart attack!! After buying and returning two bed rails i finally found a third meant for a convertible crib. I was/am not happy I had to pay $75 for it but it works very well and will keep Ben form any further head trauma. At least trauma caused by falling out of the crib. Being a boy I know there will be a million and a half more head bruises to come.

Sound asleep in the "big boy" bed.

Baby Shower!

This past Sunday we all took a trip down to NC for my sister Jennifer's baby shower. My parents, Rachel and Will, along with Benjamin and I all piled up in the van for a FUN trip. To bad Benjamin had other plans... So much for my good traveler. He made sure that Aunt Rachel and Uncle Will were not going to have children anytime soon.

She is ready to pop! Only a few more weeks to go til Ms. Baby Ray is here.

Sure to be the little ones favorite shirt!

Helping Aunt Jennifer with all those presents!

Entertaining the ladies...

I'm so excited about all the babies that are coming!! Its going to be weird to get to hold a newborn again! It seems like Benjamin came out walking and has been running around ever since!
